Features:
- View times for any saved trip with a single tap
- Real-time delay information and vehicle map (subject to data availability)
- Trackwork and service interruption information
- Interactive maps (create your trip by clicking on your station/stop)
- Alarms (arrival/departure, time/distance)
- Multi-modal trip editor (customise exact change locations / lines)
- View your favourite trips on Apple Watch

NOTE: Best efforts are taken to ensure timetable accuracy, but no guarantees are made. If you find an error in the timetable, please email [email protected] with details. No guarantees are made about real-time data availability. If the transit operator doesnt provide real-time data for a particular service, TripView will revert to showing the scheduled time, as per the timetable.

Alarms require iOS4 and a device that is capable of multitasking. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Pros and cons of TripView - Sydney & Melbourne app for iPhone and iPad

TripView - Sydney & Melbourne app good for

Worth getting the paying app. Neer going to miss my train anymore :-)
This application is just excelent. User friendly, great design,... It is pleasure to use it. Thanks
App checks for updates to train, bus and ferry schedules and downloads. Best of the bunch if youre visiting Sydney.
This is one of best transit apps Ive ever used. Very easy to navigate, accurate listings, and the ability to choose stations based on the transit map - all extremely useful features for tourists and locals alike.
I moved to Sydney from the US to live and work here. This app is used on almost a daily basis. I highly recommend using this if you plan on spending any time on Sydney public transportation.
The only thing that I wish was different is the availability of platform numbers.

Some bad moments

I travel a lot and use transit and transit apps all around the world. I found this one unusually complicated. This is great for people who take the same bus every day. You create a trip and save it, then all you have to do is click on that trip for real time info. Fantastic. For a tourist who doesnt know the area its a nightmare to use. What I wanted was an app that would pop up with a map, Id click on the stop I was at and see when the next buses would arrive. If its possible with this app, I didnt figure out how to do it. In the end, I was usually able to get the information I needed, but it required lots of keystrokes, and you would have to know your general destination. Please make one where you can just put in a stop number and see the real time arrivals. For visitors, I would rate this as way too complicated, for locals its going to work well assuming you travel the same basic routes.
Beware- some of the train times are inaccurate. This makes it very difficult and annoying to schedule a trip. Its been happening since the previous release. Please fix.
